ROUND 1
All the Entries submitted to the Data Creativity Awards competition are evaluated by our Jury, who then choose the Official Selection Finalists according to the scores given.
ROUND 2
The Official Selection Finalists are invited to register and attend the I-COM Summit Experience in order to participate in the 2nd Round of the competition, which comprises giving a 7 minute presentation live before the Jury and audience. At this stage, the Jury will assign scores based on the presentations.
The Finalists will also be hosting a Roundtable discussing and expanding on the topic of their submission, as part of the Summit programme.
The category winners, as well as the Overall Winner will be announced at the special Gala Awards Dinner during the I-COM Summit Experience.

The I-COM Data Creativity Awards competition is open to Entries that show evidence of the creative leveraging of data that has been instrumental to delivering business value. Whatever the nature of the project, entrants must be able to show the magic of a highly creative and innovative approach and demonstrate the project achieved strong results.
Examples of demonstrable results would include financial, thought leadership or other stated criteria.
The Jury will be looking for genuine original thinking and steps that others have not previously taken and would not automatically take. Ideas must have been well executed and have ultimately improved the success of the project.
Works executed in the past 3 years can be accepted (between 2022 and now).
-
Competition Entries are evaluated by our esteemed Jury
● 50% of the scoring is based on the actual project results
● 50% on the extent to which innovative and creative approaches with data were adopted in achieving those results
Since 2016, the I-COM Data Creativity Awards competition has implemented the following additional process, to provide unbiased scores:
● I-COM Data Creativity Awards entrants are each scored against an absolute standard (rather than ranking relative to Entries received).
● The scoring process combines:
1) multiple judges’ scores and
2) the scores of Entries by only a subset of all judges.● As I-COM Committees have grown the variation in the ranges among the judges’ scores has understandably increased.
● A normalisation process has been introduced to ensure that the Award results are not biased by the “luck of the draw” with any particular group of judge.

1. There can be more than one credited company per project. If more than one company is listed one should be nominated as the entrant company, who will be considered responsible for payment of entry fees and will be considered the entry’s sole contact.
2. Speculative and conceptual projects are not eligible for entry.
3. Only works executed from 2022 onwards will be eligible for Entry.
4. Entrants must not enter work which has been banned by any regulatory bodies.
5. If further results become available after entry submission, the organisers will accept written additions to the results section of the entry form, up to November 17th, 2024.
6. Case films must be in English.
7. Entries cannot be withdrawn by entrants after November 17th, 2024.

10. The Awards team may suggest category changes to ensure that all work is showcased in its best light. Entrants will be informed if category changes are required.
11. The Awards team may at any time request media scheduling details, client confirmation in writing or any other further information needed to verify the authenticity of a piece of work.
12. In the event of a complaint against any winning or shortlisted entry, the Awards team will conduct an investigation into each case. If the complaint is upheld, entries and, if applicable, awards, will be withdrawn accordingly.
13. Each entrant accepts full responsibility for the quality of entries and discharges the I-COM Data Creativity Awards from any responsibility in respect of third parties.
14. All entrants will strictly observe the above Entry Rules. Completion of the entry form will imply full acceptance by each entrant of the Entry Rules. Non-compliance with any of the Entry Rules will result in automatic disqualification of the entry.
15. The decisions of the I-COM Data Creativity Awards in all matters relating to the competition shall be final and binding.
◆ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTAll Finalists are required to host a Roundtable at the onsite portion of the Summit. This requirement is mandatory.
Roundtables provide an intensive discussion platform for a selected group of attendees (about 20 delegates ). The Roundtables aim to facilitate benchmarking, forming collaborations and sharing experiences on an international level.
Although not mandatory, it is highly recommended to co-chair your roundtable with a brand client.
